OK, my real name is Donald Bret Mundy (I usually go by Bret) and I was born in a little town in Southeastern Ohio called Nelsonville on New Year's Eve, 1957 (yeah, that makes me 43 now, byte me ;p). My parents divorced when I was just a wee baby and I was raised by my Grandparents from the age of 3 in an even smaller town called Carbon Hill. My childhood was fairly uneventful... just the usual small town, go to church on Sunday, tire swing, hound-dog on a chain kind of upbringing, really. |

I married my high school sweetheart in 1976 at the age of 18. We moved to Dayton, Ohio in 1979 where I attended the Ohio Institute of Photography. One month, to the day, after my graduation from this fine school, my daughter, Danielle Brooke, was born. We were so pleased with ourselves for producing such a beautiful child that we had another 11 months later....my son, Sean Patrick. After figuring out what was causing this increase in our family structure, we swore off sex for the rest of our lives (yeahright). |

We ended up in Columbus, Ohio in 1987 where I finally decided it was time I made an effort to better myself and get a real job. I attended Columbus State Community College where I earned an Associate Degree in Computer Science in 1991. After a few years of not finding a job in the data processing field because I didn't have a BA, I finally landed a position with Banc One Services Corp. as a Business Analyst. Since that time, I've been promoted to Application Systems Analyst/Programmer and am currently working in the Consumer Lending area. |

I'm divorced now, after 22 years of marriage. The reasons aren't important...just the end of a chapter. Turn the page. I was on my own for a while, just trying to squeak out an existance of some kind, just like everybody else (grin). I've finally met somebody who's loving, funny, caring and honest ... just what the doctor ordered. I'm happier than I've been in a very long time :) I'm a first-time GrandFather now. Here is a pic of the ever-adorable Kaitlyn Nicole in her Internet debut (well, out of the womb, anyway). |

This is me, GrampJack, holding Kaitlyn Nicole (aka Kato) for the first time. WOW!!! I have no words to describe how that felt. Hopefully, I'll be adding new pics as we go along. With the way things have been going around here lately, there will plenty for me to share with you here. At any rate, there's the Reader's Digest condensed version of my history. I might come back and add items that, at this time, elude me. Anything new will be added below as soon as I get around to updating this crazy thing. :) |

This photo was taken at my finacé's parents in New Jersey at the beginning of July 2000. And, YES, I said fiancé!!! Anne and I have been together for over a year now and been sharing an apartment for almost that long. I've never been happier and I know she feels the same way. Oh, the things that Love will make you do ::grin:: I had mentioned in this space earlier that Anne and I were planning on a July 21, 2001 wedding. Well, forget that. The whole thing was getting way too big, with an even bigger price tag. So...we've decided to just fly off to Vegas in February and have Elvis marry us. Well....maybe not Elvis but, we are getting married out there on February 26, 2001, to be exact. So, the original invitation still holds...only it's in Las Vegas, now, instead of Columbus, OH. If you happen to be in Vegas on that date, please drop in and join us on our most special day. |
