Grims Friends

	Anne (a.k.a. AnnieM OH) Anne is the first person I've met on-line who is right here in Columbus. After talking a while on-line and on the phone, we finally decided to meet face-to-face and discovered, over the course of the next few days, that we enjoyed each others company more than just a little. We share many of the same interests, even in music, which is hard for me to do these days, and we both seem to laugh alot together. Anne's one of the most special people I've ever met. We fell in love and have been together ever since. In August of 2000, I asked her to marry me and she said "Shur-ah" (Anne's a New Yorker, did I mention that?) 	Argelia (a.k.a. Arge) Argelia contacted me one night on ICQ's "random chat" and we became friends almost immediately. She's originally from Mexico and is now an architect working in Australia. She's still learning the English language (God help her) but the language barrier doesn't seem to keep her sweet nature from shining through. I've enjoyed our chats very much and wish her all the best. :)
	Cathy (a.k.a. DixieDarlin'). I met Cathy on IRC in August of 1997 in #30+FunFlirts on DalNet. It took some time, but I managed to get behind her screen persona and get to know the "real" Cathy. We've spent many a night talking 'til the wee hours of the morning about just about everything. She's one of my dearest friends and one of the reasons I don't just nuke IRC off of my puter altogether. hugs Love you, Darlin' :)
	Chris (a.k.a. GenX). My nephew by marriage, my friend by choice. I've known Chris since he was 3 days old but, I never really knew him until he came to live with us in late 1994 while he was going to college. He's a great guy, once you get passed that damn West Virginia accent(How y'all doin'?). Up until the end of April, 1999, he lived and worked in San Jose, CA but he has since returned to WVA. We still manage to keep in touch thanks to the magic of AOL's Instant Messenger. Hang in there, Chris....you'll get laid yet {g}.
	Claudia (a.k.a. 'giggle^). Claudia is probably my oldest friend on IRC. We met in #chatcafe on EfNet in the Fall of 1995 and have been each others sounding board and shoulder-to-cry-on ever since. Gigs lives in Pittsburgh and is the first on-line friend that I met in real life. We don't get to spend as much time chatting as we used to but, when we do hook up you might as well pack a lunch and plan to stay for the day. 	Gary (a.k.a. Captain1). Gary is an old #chatcafe buddy who has been "advising" me on bachelorhood....heheheh. Being a reformed "slut", as he calls it, he's been showing me all the ins and outs (no pun intended ). Gary lives in Boston and worked as an honest-to-God boat captain. He recently took classes to become Microsoft Certified so he could dock his boat for good. He's been a great friend and a storehouse of useless information {g}. 	Janice (a.k.a. flaff1). I think I met Jan around September of 1998....another ICQ random chat contact. Jan lives near Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and has to be one of the most open and honest people I've ever met. She has a wonderful, sick sense of humor that puts a smile on my face every time. She's one of those rare people that you feel comfortable talking to right from the start. Our friendship "clicked" immediately. We've laughed and cried, bitched and moaned....and everything in between. Quite simply....she's the best. Wub ya, Doll hugs
	Jax (a.k.a. RycheBaby). Jax and I met on IRC and began chatting on IM quite a bit...mainly because of similar tastes in music. We became close friends and even spent some time together. She introduced me to some very interesting talent that I will always be grateful for. She has a warped sense of humor, kinda like me, and she does this cute little ::snort:: thingy when she laughs. 	Jon (a.k.a. Impact). Jon is another old #chatcafe bud from way back. He lives in New Jersey and, these days, is one of the soul occupants of our old EfNet channel. Ah, the fun we had there...once upon a time grin Jon has one of those warped minds...you know the type. You never know what he's likely to say next.
